FOUNDATION SKILLS

This is a day course aimed at Year 6/7 students to initiate the process of learning and development. This programme is designed to assist the students with the development of their self - awareness and provide them with a process for solving problems.

The specific objectives of the course are to provide information-processing skills, opportunities for reasoning and enquiry skills, the means to use creative thinking and finally to evaluate their work and have confidence in their judgements. This course is used by the Bristol Education Centre for their Primary Gifted & Talented cohort.
