TEMWA Sponsored Climb  29/09/09

Temwa is a Bristol based organisation that raises money
to implement sustainable community-led development
projects in Malawi, Africa.
On the evening of Friday 27th November Temwa are
organising a sponsored climb. The challenge is to climb
the vertical height of Mount Everest (8,848m) between a
group of 54 intrepid climbers. That is 164m of climbing
per person.
Taking part is absolutely free although each participating climber will
be expected to raise money for Temwa in the run up to
the event.
The event is taking place on the evening of Friday
27th November. Anyone interested in taking part please

All Bristol Climbing Centre competitions are friendly, and win or lose the majority of competitors have a good time. The emphasis is definitely on fun. All boulder competitions cater for a full range of abilities and ages. Normal entry rates apply on the day but there is no additional charge for entering the bouldering competitions: yes they're FREE. �The four Bouldering Competitions in the ladder are free to enter (standard centre entry and equipment hire prices apply).
