Toilet Refurbishment 25/06/10
From Thursday 1st July, the Centre will face some disruption as we are having our toilets refurbished. The work should be finished by 1st August.
There will be a couple of temporary toilets situated just outside the side of the building for the use of our customers. We trust this won't cause too much inconvenience and the result will be well worth the trouble.
We would like to thank you for your patience during this time.
Kids Holiday Club 24/06/10
Tuesday - Friday 27th to 30th July and 24th to 27th August 2010
4 half days of climbing fun and adventure for 7-10 year olds and 10-14 year olds. Develop your climbing indoors with fun activities and then try real rock climbing and abseiling in the Avon Gorge.
Tue - Thu: 10.00am -12.00pm for 7-10 yr olds
Friday: 9.30am to 12.30pm for 7-10 yr olds
Tue - Thu: 1.00pm -3.00pm for 10-14 yr olds
Friday: 1.00pm to 4.00pm for 10-14 yr olds
Cost: Only ?50 per person
All equipment is included. Climbers must wear loose comfortable clothing and suitable footwear for climbing. Suitable outdoor clothing will be needed on the Friday. The course assembles at the Bristol Climbing Centre on days 1-3 and at the Sea Walls car park in the Avon Gorge on the Friday.
Kids Weekend Holiday Climbing Clubs 24/06/10
Come and try climbing for the first time or continue your obsession!
Every weekend through the summer holidays we are running our kids' climbing clubs. These are open to anyone regardless of experience. The sessions are one and a half hours long and will include bouldering, roped climbing, games and challenge activities. More experienced climbers can log up more climbs for their NICAS awards.
10-14 year olds:
Saturday 10.00am-11.30am �10
August 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th
7-9 year olds:
Sunday 10.30am-12.00pm �10
August 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th
Sports Climbing 21/06/10
Let us introduce you to bolted climbing in Britain's best sports crag: the sunny Isle of Portland, where there are 100s of routes to go at. This course covers all the skills and advice you will need to climb independently and confidently on sports crags all over the world.
We have spaces left for 26th and 27th June and also 3rd and 4th July 2010. Cost is �155 per person. For more information please call 0117 908 3491.
