COURSES
As part of our consultancy service we regularly design and run specific courses for clients in any of the following fields:
Risk Management
This course is designed for group leaders, teachers and Educational Visit Coordinators to explore the nature of risk in the outdoors and how this can be successfully managed. The course can be held at either the Climbing or High Ropes Centres where participants can experience a risk activity and attend a variety of presentations on the management of risk.
Team Dynamics
These courses, often used for expeditions, are designed to increase the effectiveness of a team by exploring the roles of each individual and the inter-personal relationships between them. It allows team members to understand their role within the team through a task-based approach and appraise individual strengths and limitations.
Leader training
We run a variety of courses for expedition leaders, teachers, PGCE students and youth leaders to help them lead and inspire groups of young people. We look at management issues, teambuilding techniques, communication skills and the nature of leadership.
